The information-packed business event of the year!
Featuring Keynote Speaker: President and Co-founder Ray Rastelli
From humble beginnings in a small retail store called The Meat Stop to a vertically integrated, global food services company, Rastelli Foods Group
has been at the nucleus of food management since 1976.
If you grew up in South NJ, then you probably know Ray Rastelli. The soft-spoken butcher who would not sell you a cut of meat unless it was good enough to serve his mom. Today, Ray is better known as America?s Butcher due to his many national awards recognitions, including:
· 2020- Top 100 Processor by Meat + Poultry and Vendor of the Year by QVC
· 2019 -Most Recommended Brand and Best Burger ? Black Angus Beef Craft Burger by QVC
· 2018-Processor of the Year by National Provisioner & Family Business Award by The Inquirer
However, Rastelli remains locally embraced. He remains the down-to-earth family guy with the same core values, who started in a single store and now runs a billion-dollar business through all the growth and expansion.
Rastelli never thought small. For four decades, he has created substantial growth while keeping a family-oriented business feel. With a primary focus on providing premium quality meats and seafood, Rastelli Foods Group continues to sell meat and seafood but has added plant-based options as well. The business sells to restaurants across the globe, operates two supermarkets and supplies protein meal programs across the country. On top of that, the Rastelli Team managed to build their hugely popular e-commerce business and global distribution to military bases and beyond.
Rastelli has several sustainable initiatives to lessen its carbon footprint with its global operations. Some actions taken include solar panel installations, the 5&2 charitable program to reduce food waste in the community by 20 percent by 2022, shrank their water usage by 47 percent or by 9,000 gallons per month, and changed to 100% biodegradable coolers.
Through strategic partnerships, Rastelli now owns and operates around a dozen brands that round out their ever-growing portfolio. Several of these brands of which were jump-started on Shark Tank.
As president of Rastelli Foods Group, he takes equal care in leading the company's financial success and upholding its positive culture. As Rastelli continues to grow across all food categories, he maintains a family business feel that clients and employees appreciate. So welcome to the Rastelli family.
