The Chamber created Faces of Business to promote positive dialog and interaction between successful business leaders and executives alike on issues regarding gender, age, and culture.
Each quarterly program we will feature a sampling of some of the most successful business people within our region. They will be invited to share with you their personal recipe for success. In the end you will leave with tools and inspiration to strengthen your business from the inside.

Help entrepreneurs break through the challenges of growing a successful business. In this panel and audience driven discussion, we will explore some of the challenges that women face in growing their business and entrepreneurial skills.
The panel of experts will offer insight and actionable tips on how women can pursue the goals to achieve the results they want.

Catherine Allen is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner trained to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for individuals, businesses, and organizations.
One of Catherine’s areas of expertise is working with women in transition: widows, divorcees, and those re-joining the workplace. More than 90% of women will be solely responsible for their finances at one point in their lives. It is her passion and goal to change the conversation about personal finance for women.
In 2014 she was awarded The Women's Choice Award for Financial Advisors, which was created by WomenCertified® in partnership with WIFE.org in an effort to identify advisors that women can trust.
Catherine is the president of South Jersey Women in Business and a committee member for Habitat for Humanity. Other charities she has been involved with include CASA, Camden County Women's Center, and Operation Yellow Ribbon. Catherine is also a member of NAWBO, the Society of Financial Service Professionals, the National Association of Professional Women and the Financial Planning Association, local and national chapters.

Katie Walsh is the owner of three Rita’s Italian Ice franchises, each located in Gloucester County, NJ. Ten years ago, Katie started “scooping” ice as a server at her local Rita’s. She quickly climbed the ranks into management. While a full time student, pursuing a Marketing degree from Rutgers University- Camden School of Business, Katie stayed with Rita’s as a full-time General Manager/Marketing Manager. In 2012, Katie graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rutgers University with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing. In 2014, Katie purchased the Rita’s Ice locations of Mantua, Woodbury, & Glassboro, NJ where she remains responsible for all business decisions. In addition to managing her three locations, Katie works as a Small Business Consultant, specializing in operations, marketing, and team building. Katie also serves as the Chapter President for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) of South New Jersey.

Nicole DeFeo is a nationally recognized leader within the non-profit profession for her fundraising, marketing and operational management achievements. An accomplished strategist and marketer, Nicole's vision and drive have transformed small struggling non-profits into thriving, successful organizations in short periods of time.
As the current International Executive Director for Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority, Educational Foundation and National Development Corporation, Nicole is responsible for assets exceeding $15 million. Under her leadership, the organization has experienced a 130 percent increase in growth in the past 10 years.
Offering a rare blend of creative and operational strengths, Nicole has achieved exciting organizational turnarounds including her work as the founding Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Gloucester County, NJ and as the former Assistant Executive Director of the Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey.
