Area Sales Manager - Effectv: SNJ Region
Tara Smith, Area Sales Manager for Effectv, has over 21 years of advertising sales experience. As an Account Executive with Radius Communications in 1998, Tara learned to manage all aspects of local cable advertising sales, media consulting and marketing solutions for her clients. With guidance from her mentors, Tara was accepted into the Senior Account Executive Program in 2006 until she was promoted to Local Sales Manager of the Jersey Shore Team in Egg Harbor Twp. in 2016. Now, Tara holds the role of Area Sales Manager where she oversees four local Effectv offices throughout the tri-state region.
Tara has been honored for exceptional sales performance year over year and won Comcast?s National President?s Club status twice. Tara is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College and currently resides in Williamstown.
Terri Smith Ryan
Senior Manager - Effectv: Conshohocken, Pa
Terri Smith Ryan is an advertising professional with a background in Advertising agencies in NYC. She?s worked for large agencies including Young & Rubicam, J. Walter Thompson, Foote Cone & Belding, and Zenith Media (Saatchi & Saatchi). Shen later moved to the Philadelphia area, where she began working for Comcast Spotlight, later to become Effectv. She now serves as Sr. Manager, Data Innovation & Insights. At Effectv, Terri has earned internal recognitions and awards, and is a graduate of Effectv?s Women in Leadership program.
Terri is a graduate BBA in Marketing and she is currently pursuing her MBA at Ashford University. A mother of two college students, Terri currently resides in Plymouth Meeting, PA.
Shelly Leaf De Witt

Shelly Leaf De Witt is a marketing professional with experience managing all aspects of marketing initiatives from development and presentation through execution. At Effectv, Shelly manages a team that focuses on ideation, strategic solutions and driving new business for Local and Regional Sales Teams in the Philadelphia Market.
Shelly is a recipient of several industry achievement and leadership awards. She is a Philly Ad Club Mentor and an active member of WIL (Comcast?s Women in Leadership Program) and WICT?s Philadelphia Chapter.
A graduate of Rowan University, Shelly resides in Brooklawn, NJ with her husband Tony.

Alison Schwartz is a Manager on the Sales Portfolio Management team, where she helps launch new multi-screen advertising solutions throughout Comcast?s 60+ markets enterprise-wide. Alison recently came from a Research role, onboarding and training new hires on how to leverage data to gain insights and drive results. Prior to Comcast, Alison spent six years at CBS, both in New York and in Philadelphia. While at CBS, she was the #1 AE to generate new business by helping local advertisers succeed.
She has won several awards including being honored in 2019 by the Philly Ad Club as a Mover & Shaker as well as winning comScore?s annual Local TV ?Make Your Case? award. Alison is a Mentor through the Collective Success Network and the Philly Ad Club. She is a graduate from Indiana University - Bloomington and her favorite hobby is admittedly... watching TV.
