The Borough of Glassboro, in partnership with St. Anthony’s Mutual Aid Society, will welcome residents and visitors to the 13th Annual St. Anthony’s Italian Festival presented by Nexus Properties and Rowan University on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in Downtown Glassboro.

 The festival will take place from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m., celebrating the sights, sounds, flavors, and traditions of southern Italy. The day will begin with one of the festival’s most cherished traditions—the St. Anthony’s Procession. Beginning at 1:45 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Hall, the procession will make its way through downtown Glassboro before arriving at Glassboro Town Square. 

The time-honored tradition honors St. Anthony through music, prayer, and community participation, reflecting the faith, heritage, and traditions passed down through generations. 

Following the procession, the festival will officially welcome attendees at 2:00 p.m. on the Main Stage, kicking off an afternoon and evening filled with live music, cultural entertainment, food, and family activities. A Full Day of Italian Culture and Entertainment The festival’s Main Stage will feature a diverse lineup throughout the day, including the Italian Fairy, Greg Armstrong & Friends, the Vivaci Dancers, a “That’s Amore” sing-along, and local band Right Turn at 40.

 The evening will conclude with the announcement of the Glassboro Police Charitable Association 50/50 winner at 9:45 p.m. New for 2026 is the Heritage Stage, a special addition dedicated to celebrating the culture, traditions, and community spirit of St. Anthony’s Italian Festival. The Heritage Stage will showcase local performers, Italian-inspired entertainment, cultural demonstrations, and community storytelling throughout the day. Festivalgoers will also have plenty of opportunities to experience the flavors of Italy and beyond. Food offerings include St. Anthony’s Mutual Aid Fund’s famous Porchetta and Meatball Sandwiches, Italian specialties, pasta, arancini, cannoli, pastries, ice cream, and other food and beverage options.
